Encounter with a Manatee

It started when I was at the beach. My dad had called a friend and asked if we could go on a boat ride, and we did.
So, we went and saw all sorts of things like dolphins. It was awesome, but we were hungry, so we went to a restaurant on the water called Sundays. |

We docked the boat and saw some kids. I thought, "What are they doing?" Well, they were feeding this huge manatee. It had huge scars on its back and tons of whiskers, so I decided to go to see it. It was so cute!
We wanted to feed it, but we had no food! We saw someone leave and they had not finished their salad, so I sneaked some lettuce, carrots, and celery. It was perfect. I finally got to feed the manatee. It did not bite, it tickled. Everyone was happy.
On our way back there were millions of pelicans following us. I thought they smelt the salad, so I quickly washed my hands. The End. |
